GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPPY
Once the puppies are whelped, there is a puppy page created for each litter. A link to this page is added under the Litters page. There will be group photos and individual photos. As the pups grow, their personalities begin to emerge. We list these individual traits under each pup as we observe them.
Our site is kept up to date with current and planned litters. The puppies are whelped in our home and stay inside until about 4 weeks of age. They are acclimated to a wide variety of noises and activity such as pans banging, telephone, radio, television, visitors, & children...etc.
They will also spend some time outside on good weather days to acclimate to the grass, traffic, and all the different smells. Our puppies are socialized and introduced to as many new environments as possible in the few short weeks we have them.
At about 4 weeks of age or when the boldest pup decides the whelping area is to small for him, the pups are moved to the covered kennel. They have indoor/outdoor access which helps teach them to potty outdoors. In the kennel the pups are still nursed by their mother but do not spend much time with her anymore. They are now introduced to other dogs and learn the way of the pack. They leave our kennel bold and confident.

HEALTH GUARANTEE
Pups are given the best of care. Pups are wormed at 4-6 weeks of age to ensure they are free of any parasite. They also receive their first parvo vaccination at 5 weeks of age and a second combination vaccination at 7 weeks of age. Each pup leaves our kennel with a 1 year health guarantee. The pups are guaranteed healthy when they leave our kennel with a 48 hour return policy for any reason. We provide a 1 year health guarantee against any congenital or hereditary disabling disease.
The pups hips/Elbows are guaranteed to OFA certify up to 30 months of age. The puppy must be prelimed according to the puppy contract.

PUPPY PACKET
A puppy packet is furnished with each puppy. This packet is attached to the shipping crate if the puppy is shipped. Included in the packet is AKC registration papers (if we have received them from the AKC by the time your puppy is ready to leave). This is the application to registered the puppy with the AKC. Included is in-depth pedigree information with photos, titles, and hip ratings of parents and many grandparents. Also included are copies of parent's OFA certs, DNA, pedigrees, registration papers, and many wonderful articles on raising and training your pup. A lead, and one sample of Nutro Max Puppy is provided to help transition your puppy to a different kind of food if you choose.

DEPOSITS
To secure a puppy from a specific litter a deposit is required. The deposit amount is $500. We accept deposits on expected or planned litters and accept every form of payment(Deposit Only). Paypal or cash is our preferred method of payment. We will email a verification the deposit has been received.
DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE BUT MAY BE BOUNCED TO ANOTHER LITTER AS MANY TIMES AS NEEDED TO GET THE PERFECT PUPPY FOR YOU.
When moving your deposit to another litter, your deposit will be placed behind anyone already in place. We cannot move you ahead of someone else even if your deposit was received before theirs. If you intend to jump to another litter, it is best to do so as early as possible.

SALES TAX
We are required to collect sales tax on all sales and services according to Texas state law. If you are a Texas resident
sales tax will be added to the purchase price.

TEMPERAMENT TEST
We complete a Temperament Test at the age of 5-8 weeks. A link to the test results will be placed on the puppies page for each indivdual pup. This information is a wonderful asset when choosing your puppy. Soon after the test results are uploaded to the site, the puppy choice process begins.

CHOOSING YOUR PUPPY
Puppy choice is based on the order the deposits were received with the exception that we will help you make the right choice of puppy based on the temperaments and drives you are looking for. We may highly advise a particular
puppy will not be right for you or suggest exactly which puppy will be best suited for your family.
We understand the choice process is sometimes tough. We are available to make recommendations and help with such a critical decision. We have provided photos, videos, and temperament test results to help the buyers who cannot visit to make their choice.

SHIPPING
Pups are available for pickup at 8 weeks of age. Many people are unable to pickup due to time or distance. We ship pups throughout the US via air cargo.
Many buyers are asking to receive their puppy early due to a conflict within their schedule. The pups schedule for shots, worming, and availability is already preset from the day they were born. Due to health risks outside the kennel and time frames for the puppy vaccinations to boost their immune systems, the pups are not available for shipment or pickup before 8 weeks of age. We can work with your schedule after 8 weeks of age, but not prior to 8 weeks of age. The added health risk to the puppy when taken from the kennel early is not worth it. PLEASE DON'T ASK!!!!
We try to work with you and your schedule but buyers must be flexible and available to pick up the pup. On occasion pups must be picked up late in the evening, or to a different destination airport.
Currently SHIPPING COST is quoted $350 (8 week old puppy in medium size crate) and we will refund any unused portion. (Shipping cost goes up with each size larger crate) This includes the freight charge, crate, & health certificate. Must be paid prior to shipping the pup.

PAYMENT
Final Payment + shipping is due two weeks prior to shipping or when paying by check(personal, cashiers, money order). Final payment can be paid when picking up the puppy if paying by credit card or cash.
PUPPY WILL NOT SHIP IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED.
We accept forms of payment such as Money Orders, Cashiers checks, Bank Wires, Western Union, and Credit Cards through PayPal
NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED FOR FINAL PAYMENT AS IT TAKES 2 WEEKS FOR PERSONAL CHECKS TO CLEAR THE BANK!! WE WILL ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS IF THE ISSUING BANK IS LOCAL AND WE CAN CASH IT IMMEDIATELY! THE PUPPY / DOG WILL NOT GO HOME UNTIL THE CHECK HAS BEEN CASHED.

We provide LIFE TIME SUPPORT to all puppy buyers for any questions, concerns, or problems that may arrise after you receive your puppy. We also request periodic updates on your puppy's development and photos are always greatly appreciated.
